Award Description: ARRA Supplemental Funding for Weatherization Assistance to Low-Income Persons: To reduce energy costs for low-income families, particularily for the elderly, people with disabilities, and children, by improving the energy efficiency of their homes while ensuring their health and safety.

Project Description: As this is the first report for WAP ARRA funds, most of the activity has supported ramp up of workforce and infrastructure.

Jobs Summary: The Weatherization Assistance Program grant creates and retains jobs associated with weatherizing homes for low-income persons. The total employment impact of the $2,794,039.97 expended to date is estimated at 30.37 jobs, including direct, indirect, and induced jobs. (Total jobs reported: 20)
