Award Description: Funding is for improvement of current medical services and addition of transportation services at the Winterhaven clinic. Purchases include replacement of facility water heater, software licenses and a transportation vehicle. The new water heater will meet the requirements for facility operation; the licences are for provider inclusion and access in our Practice Management system; and for accessing the program we use for tracking and follow up of patients' health conditions. The transportation vehicle will serve to take patients, who do not have any means of transportantion, from their homes to the clinic and back, so they are able to come and see the doctor when they are sick or have appointments. The estimated number of medical visits for which patients will use the transportation van is about 1,200 per year. We expect to serve, in the clinic, about 1.250 unduplicated users and provide 5,700 medical visits per year.
Project Description: Number of medical visits provided during the months of August and September is 832 - The invoice is for the purchase of a license to add and give access to a provider in our Practice Management System.
