Award Description: ARRA-Capital Improvement Program
Project Description: This project is for the remodeling and renovation of 3,023 square feet of the Homeless Health Care Center. 1,880 of this square footage is an expansion into adjacent space. The expanded space will be renovated and converted into six offices, a breakroom, a conference room, and a storage area. An additional exit will be provided as well. The existing lobby will be enlarged and the registration space will be increased to accommodate patient waiting and flow. A vestibule will be constructed at the front entrance to minimize an air flow vacuum and allow for safety doors. Improvments to the remaining facility include the conversion of existing offices into four exam rooms, new flooring, and painting. The total amount of improved space is 7,591 square feet.
