Award Description: The project is to include A&E Services for preparing 3 Design Concept Alternatives for the new comfort station at Arlington House which is part of George Washington Memorial Parkway. This project is Task 10 of BBB's Term Contract with the NPS NCR and is officially titled 'Architectural & Engineering Servcies - Rehabilitate Arlington House, Outbuildings and Grounds, Phase 2b: Construct New Comfort Station. BBB is to assist the NPS NCR with gaining approval of the CFA and NCPC of the design for the comfort station. Following approval of the design by the agencies, BBB and the design team are to provide Design Development Documents (50% Design), 90% Construction Documents, 100% Construction Documents and Final Construction Documents. Also to be provided are a Class C, B and A cost estimate.

Project Description: Project Kick Off occurred on September 17th. Design Team has prepared presentation drawings for review by Commission of Fine Arts and National Capital Planning Commission and has met with NPS NCR representatives for comment on these materials.
