Award Description: This project shall consist of the preparation of a Request-for-Proposal (RFP) for Design-Build services for a new maintenance facility in King Salmon Alaska. The Design-Build RFP will consist of schematic design drawings and technical specifications necessary to describle the required qualities of the building to the proposing Desing-Build contrqctors. All documents shall be prepared using the English System of Weights and Measurements, and shall be prepared in accordance with the DSC Workflow Design Standards.
Project Description: The design team created schematic level site plans, building plans, building elevations. The team also created a 50% draft of the Design-Build Request for Proposal (RFP) This information was submitted to the National Park Service for review. After the review period the team held a conference with NPS representitives to discuss the progress of the project and identify changes and additional work necessary to develop the final drawings and RFP document.
