Award Description: North Central Texas Council of Governments (NCTCOG) was awarded a National Clean Diesel Funding Assistance Program Grant to fund a replacement and repower program targeting on-road heavy-duty diesel vehicles traveling in or through the Dallas-Fort Worth area. The general purpose of the grant is to reduce diesel emissions and improve air quality.
Project Description: During this quarter, no trucks were replaced or repowered with lower emitting trucks or engines. NCTCOG has identified all subawardees and anticipates execution of subawardee agreements by November 2009.
