Award Description: Requisition to DJ&A to include site visit, survey and design of the Quartz-Cottonwood Road system involving portions of Roads 416, 334, and 239. The existing roadway is a narrow single lane loop road with three primary access roads that was built primarily from native materials. The existing roadway width varies from 8 to 16 feet with trees growing immediately adjacent to the edge of the roadway. Berms have been bladed up on each side of the roadway in many areas and water cannot drain from the roadway section. Theer is poor drainage and the roadway becomes ery rutted, muddy and even impassable during wet periods. Phase I is for the survey and data collection only. Phase II will be the design of the roadway. This requisition if for Phase I survey and mapping only.
Project Description: Completed LiDar flight and are now preparing preliminary mapping.
