Award Description: The SCSEP grant funded through ARRA is to support additional training and employment opportunities for unemployed low-income seniors that are 55 and older. The grant will expand the number of SCSEP participants assigned to community service work, especially in those growth industries emphasized in the Recovery Act.

Project Description: Provision of subsidized, part-time, community service work-based training for low income persons age 55 or older.
