Award Description: Criminal Justice Automation Replacement Program. The funds will be used to enhance the public safety departments; Sheriff, District Attorney and Probation , in their community policing efforts through the replacement of existing automation equipment and software to insure a continuum of operation.
Project Description: The San Luis Obispo County public safety agencies, comprised of the Sheriff, Chief Probation Officer and District Attorney, have collaborated to use the Recovery Act Grant to fund the purchase of unfunded replacement computer workstations, automated systems and software necessary to continue providing related services and programs to the community.
