Award Description: 1.0 INTRODUCTION Surveyor shall perform a Boundary survey to assist NRCS: WRP, EWP and EWRP programs establishing the Boundary and easements for each land owner and the state. 2.0 GENERAL A. Surveyor shall provide all equipment and personnel necessary to perform all Surveying described herein. B. The surveying must comply with requirements set forth in the Code of Iowa. Please ensure that the landowner/participant name: (owner of record) appears on the plat together with the NRCS as requesting the survey. C. All drawings shall be prepared using AutoCAD 2004 software or better. D. A metes and bounds description, global positioning system coordinates will be provided in both formats as follows: WGS 84 datum, UTM NAD 83 coordinate system. 3.0 SCOPE OF SERVICES A. Provide a Boundary survey and easement description. B. Above ground witness markers will be installed by each permanent marker. The witness marker will be a 7 foot U channel galvanized steel post with a attached small NRCS easement boundary sign on every post. C. Any easement area surveyed will not include road right-of-ways or other similar areas. D. Permanent markers will be installed at each corner or angle change and every 250 feet on straight runs or every 500 feet on existing fences and adjacent to public roads. E. Surveyor will meet with the NRCS representative and the landowner prior to commencing the survey to ensure that the easement area or area to be surveyed is properly identified and delineated. F. Surveyor will also meet with the same parties after completing the survey to ensure it meets the expectations of the landowner and the NRCS. 4.0 DELIVERABLES A. Provide the following deliverables: ? Boundary Survey - One (1) electronic copy on CD.DWG - The surveyor shall furnish the NRCS with a filed 8.5 x 11 or 8.5 x 14 size plat with metes and bounds description.
