Award Description: This agreement provides funding under the American Recovery and Reinvestment Act of 2009 to the state of Pennsylvania to capitalize its revolving loan fund for the financing for the construction of drinking water facilities, green infrastructure, program administration and drinking water related activities. The primary purposes of the agreement are to: preserve and create jobs, and promote economic recovery. The balance is contingent upon satisfaction of programmatic conditions number two and nine.
Project Description: This agreement provides funding under the American Recovery and Reinvestment Act of 2009 to the state of Pennsylvania to capitalize its revolving loan fund for the financing for the construction of drinking water facilities, green infrastructure, program administration and drinking water related activities. Infrastructure Description: PENNVEST is a conduit lender. It is using this grant award in conjunction with its other resources to provide much needed funding to communities through out the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania for infrastructure projects that have a water quality impact and which will therefore improve the environmental protection of the citizens of our Commonwealth while simultaneously providing much needed employment opportunities in the construction industry.
