Award Description: The City of Flagstaff and Coconino County will apply Recovery Act JAG funding towards separate initiatives aimed at enhancing law enforcement services provided to the community. The city, through its police department, will use its share to support the costs of officer overtime associated with targeted policing efforts. A portion of funds will also be used for administrative costs incurred for the management of this award. The county will use remaining funds to purchase narrow band radios for its sheriff’s office. For administrative purposes, the city has been designated as the fiscal agent.
