Award Description: ARRA Cost of Living Adjustment (COLA) and Quality Improvement Funding consistent with the provisions of Section 640(a)5 of the Head Start Act.
Project Description: Project Description: Increase the compensation and benefits of staff through a cost of living adjustment to improve overall quality of program. Improve classroom safety and comfort through improvents to heating systems and energy efficiencies. Improve quality of program through the acquisition and use of classroom computers. Quarterly Activities: All staff recieved a cost of living adjutment effective July 1, 2009. Replacement of baseboard heating elements has begun.
