Award Description: The intent of award is to provide access to those unable to access services during regular working hours with a focus on seasonal farm workers/Latinos and also working people and those dependent on transportation not available during working hours. The funds are also being used to increase users access in an effort to better manage the chronically ill.
Project Description: Have provided medical care to the Migrant farm workers and Latino's via outreach programs such as Health Fairs, Public Service announcements on the radio, and translation services. Without these services this vulnerable population may have not known where to get access to healthcare with minimal barriers.
