Award Description: Two tasks in support of the US DOE Strategic Integrated Procurement Enterprise System (STRIPES) 1) Maintenance of Operating Environment – Recovery Act funds are for the increased STRIPES system capacity required by the $38B in Recovery Act obligations received by the Department of Energy. Tasks include maintenance of network and applications, application training, implementation, documentation, Certification and Accreditation and Level 2 helpdesk/customer support. 2) MA Helpdesk – Recovery Act funds are for the increased amount of support needed to expend an additional $38B in Recovery Act obligations received by the Department of Energy, over the next 2 fiscal years. Level 1 helpdesk support includes assisting Federal staff by answering system questions, through being familiar with the system documentation, being familiar with the touch points with other systems and facilitating troubleshooting of Interface issues.
Project Description: The Project has two components: a) maintain the enterprise-wide US DOE Strategic Integrated Procurement Enterprise System (STRIPES), which is used to execute the Department's Acquisition (contracts) and Financial Assistance actions; and b) provide HelpDesk and technical support to the Department's procurement staff using the STRIPES system. This contract was awarded on 9/18/2009, so work has just begun. Activities accomplished include: answered 300 additional HelpDesk Calls; provided additional user desktop support and training; performed additional system maintenance on STRIPES; extracted and provided ARRA procurement statistics; provided reports on ARRA funds obligated by DOE; and, provided a solution to import ARRA procurement instruments from the DOE legacy system into STRIPES.
