Award Description: RFA_RR-07-001 Competitive Continuation of Centers of Biomedical Research Excellence (COBRE)
Project Description: The University of Kansas hosts a COBRE award (Centers of Biomedical Research Excellence) that actively recruits, supports, mentors and accelerates career development for outstanding junior faculty pursuing multidisciplinary health-related work in Protein Structure and Function. The ARRA supplement will expand, strengthen and further develop our Center through the addition of three new research pilot projects directed by junior faculty, thereby increasing both the number of junior faculty whose research careers we accelerate and the quantity and rate of our overall research productivity.
