Award Description: To purchase a new image analyzer for my laboratory on NIH parent grant# 5R01AI063480-05
Project Description: I received the notice of award (NoA) letter about the supplement weeks ago (September 28, 2009) and have since sought out relevant quotes from various sales representatives. We await these quotes so that we can go ahead and replace our old instrument that should greatly improve our data recording capabilities and management of the project proposed in the parent grant. For this reason I have not incurred any expenses at this time. The delay in filing was due to the fact that we were not aware that a report was due on the award because it has not been a quarter since the grant was received.
