Award Description: ARRA Increase Services to Health Centers
Project Description: After two quarters of IDS funding, the IDS money supported the staffing for 616 medical and 586 dental visits. This represents 126 new patients of which 86 are uninsured. We also purchased several pieces of small equipment including EMR compatible EKG machine, fetal monitor, automatic vitals machine, cholesterol testing machine, lead testing machine, etc. IDS funding also covered supply costs of 3.18 per medical visit and 4.10 per dental visit.
