Award Description: ARRA Cost of Living Adjustment (COLA), and Quality Improvement Funding consistent with the provisions of Section 640(a)(5) of the Head Start Act
Project Description: ARRA COLA and Qualty Funds will be used to: -Make improvements to Centers to make them safer and more user friendly -Replace aging equipment -Improve playground accessibility and safety -Increase the compensation and benefits of staff through a cost of living adjustment to improve the overall quality of the program. Quarterly Activities: - Bids received for improvements to Centers. -Bids received for Playground renovations and equipment. -All staff received a cost of living adjustment effective August 3, 2009.
