Award Description: The award will be used to fund improvements to the State's drinking water distribution and treatment infrastructure.The outcomes will be the maintenance and improvement of drinking water quality and protection of public health. There will also be a reduction in maintenance expenses, extension of life of the infrastructure, protection and enhancement of property values, and will increase the amount of green infrastructure in the communities.

Project Description: The funds will be used for drinking water infrastructure improvements to ensure compliance with the Safe Drinking Water Act and the State's drinking water rules. Green infrastructure will be added to the systems through the use of water meters. Water conservation will be achieved through repair of distribution lines.

Infrastructure Description: To fund Drinking Water State Revolving Fund projects for drinking water infrastructure improvements to ensure protection of public health. The funding will create and retain jobs in economically disadvantaged communities.
