Project Description: South Carolina has completed selection of all of our sub-grantees. We allocated funding totaling over $900,000 for 10 targeted projects that are ready for implementation and can immediately achieve program goals. Additionally, we selected 8 projects to fund through a competitive sub-grant process totaling over $600,000. We completed two news releases; one announcing recipients of targeted funding along with our request for proposals for our sub-grant process, and another to announce recipients of the competitve sub-grants. We gave a presentation at the Aiken/Augusta Air Quality Stakeholders Meeting which included information and updates the ARRA DERA program in S.C. We also used our Planning Update to announce this funding opportunity. This update is sent weekly by e-mail to around 700 of our air quality stakeholders. We have a webpage devoted to the ARRA DERA grant separate from our regular DERA page. This website includes basic information about the program, South Carolina's funding allocation, our plans with the funding, and the application for our sub-grant process.
