Award Description: ARRA provided funding to stimulate economic recovery and to reduce healthcare costs through prevention activities. These ARRA funds will support the operations needed to deliver and account for those vaccinated.
Project Description: The ARRA funding will be used to implement the new web-based immunization registry and create collaborative participatory efforts with the Local Public Health Agencies (LPHAs) in Missouri to provide vaccines to more Missourians. The ARRA funding will establish salaries (previously non-existent) for both new positions within state government and for salaries applied to contracted efforts.
