Award Description: ARRA COLA adjustment, and Quality Improvement Funding consistent with the provisions of Section 640(a)(5) of the Head Start Act
Project Description: Description: ARRA COSA and Quality Funds will be used to: Increase compensation and benefits of staff to improve the overall quality of the program. Provide college cohort courses to further professional development. Improve facilities' safety. Increase hours for Early Head Start nurse. Make down payment on a new Head Start bus. Activities: All staff received a cost of living adjustment effective July 1, 2009. College cohort classes with Fisher College began September 2009 at our facility. Facilities upgrades have commenced.
