Award Description: The goals of this project is to seek to prevent or reduce crime and violence through the uses of automation, computers and emerging technologies to reduce the time necessary to complete routine tasks, free up personnel for more important work, improve safety, and gain greater accountability. The grant funding will provide equipment to continue much needed upgrades and will enhance interoperability, capability and safety which will be greatly realized by the officers on the street county wide. The deliverables will consist of the purchase of equipment and implementation. Report the improved efficiency in job performance and reporting increase in program quality.
