Project Description: Underserved Teen Victim Initiative Recovery Act Progress Report October 8, 2009 Report period: August 18, 2009?September 30, 2009 Summary of activities: Reviewed grant award documents and submitted signed copies of award documents to OVC Submitted revised timeline to OVC, per special conditions Participated in conference call with grant monitor to discuss reporting requirements and deadlines Reviewed OJP PowerPoint presentation and transcript to understand Recovery Act reporting requirements Reviewed staffing needs and budget Created a new internal budget code for funds, per Recovery Act requirements Submitted sole source justification to OVC for the National Center for Victims of Crime contract (request was approved) Held conference calls with staff at the National Center to review grant timeline, Recovery Act requirements, reporting, and work tasks Drafted contract for the National Center and presented for their review
