Project Description: APD plans to install an enhanced facility security system to provide for higher access control to our main Headquarters. To coincide with this we will be enhancing our security camera and alarm systems to interface as one main sytem thereby increasing facility security. Meetings with Information Technology staff have taken place and the RFP will be published soon. Buncombe County Sheriff Dept. plans to purchase a Use of Force simulator that will enable Deputies to increase their decision making skills through a controlled simulation environment.
