Award Description: the Urban Ventures youth Mentoring and Employment Project will mentor high-risk and at-risk youth ages 12-17 in Minneapolis through one-to-one mentoring with trained adults, weekly group support for leadership development, educational support and skills development as well as after-school tutoring. the goal is for 200 youth to learn skills, and become employable and to obtain jobs.
