Award Description: ARRA Cost of Living Adjustment (COLA), and Quality Improvement Funding consistent with the provisions of Section 640(a)(5) of the Head Start Act
Project Description: Project Description: ARRA COLA and Quality Funds will be used to increase the compensation and benefits of staff through a cost of living adjustment to improve the overall quality of the program,& provide professional development to teaching staff to improve staff qualifications, & improve classroom environment. Quarterly Activities: All staff received a cost of living adjustment effective August 1, 2009, we are in the process of setting the training program in place, & we received our first shipment of hi-quality furniture for our classrooms.
